Some stories begin before the bride walks through the door. Antoinette had the privilege of creating the wedding gown for Samantha's sister first, and it was during that process, across fittings filled with laughter, joy and moments of something becoming, that Samantha sat nearby and watched. She witnessed the journey, and in doing so, she began dreaming of her own. When the day came for Samantha to walk into the atelier, there was an ease to the appointment that only comes from already knowing the feeling. Two brides, one designer, and a shared thread of memory woven through both gowns. It is the kind of story that reminds you why couture matters beyond the dress itself.
Luxury bridal design begins not with fabric but with conversation. The first appointment is an act of translation, drawing out what a bride cannot yet articulate and giving it shape, proportion, and material form. From there, the process unfolds in layers. Initial sketches establish the silhouette. Draping in toile tests the idea against the body, refining the fall of a skirt, the placement of a seam.
Samantha's custom Antoinette Fusillo gown is a study in the designer's most recognisable signature work. The off-the-shoulder draped straps frame the décolletage with architectural softness, falling into a draped and sculpted bodice that follows the natural contour of the body. Below, the silhouette transitions through a dropped waist, the point at which structure yields completely to volume, releasing into a luscious, full-skirted skirt with a long cathedral train. The fabrication is a crisp, weighty bridal silk that holds its shape through hours of movement while remaining tactile and luminous in every light. Ethereal, certainly, but grounded by the precision of its construction.

What began as an off-the-shoulder draped masterpiece transformed effortlessly into a clean, strapless column, the structured bodice now fully exposed.
